Hi! Fluent Built-in Compiler doesn't create libudf.dll. Folders (src and win64) are created, but they haven't libudf.dll. What may be wrong? Fluent 2022 R1. UDF is from a tutorial.

This problem is solved. Working with .exe files was blocked. The System administrator has unblocked rights on the computer and the problem has gone.

Hi Sergey,
I don't see a libudf.dll in the libudf folder. I do see src and win64. Is libudf.dll created once the fluent simulation runs or immediately after the libudf folder is created? Thanks |

Hello. libudf.dll is created after compilation of an UDF (Functions->Compiled...->Build). It needs to be compiled once. Closing Fluent doesn't remove the libudf folder and its content.

Hi Sergey, Thanks for the comments. I am getting a warning upon compiling my UDF with the built-in compiler.
scons: warning: No version of Visual Studio compiler found - C/C++ compilers most likely not set correctly File "C:\Users\....\libudf\win64\3ddp_host\SConstru ct", line 20, in <module> Compiler path: "C:\PROGRA~1\ANSYSI~1\v241\fluent"\ntbin\clang\bin \clang-cl Linker path: "C:\PROGRA~1\ANSYSI~1\v241\fluent"\ntbin\clang\bin \lld-link After compiling, I click load and then initialize and run the simulation. Then I get a fatal error: ================================================== ============================ ================================================== ============================ Node 1: Process 6996: Received signal SIGSEGV. ================================================== ============================ ================================================== ============================ Node 2: Process 27464: Received signal SIGSEGV. ================================================== ============================ Node 0: Process 26448: Received signal SIGSEGV. ================================================== ============================ ================================================== ============================ Node 3: Process 10824: Received signal SIGSEGV. ================================================== ============================ Error in the fluent (fl) process : ended abnormally Other than checking Setup Compilation Environment for UDF in Fluent Launcher do I need to anything else. Thanks. |
