Dear all,
I am having a bit of a problem with compiling UDF for my analysis. I have tried following the steps as outlined in Compile Fluent UDF with Windows 10. I have made it work for the time when I opened FLUENT without going through Workbench. However, I would really prefer that I could make it work on Workbench projects especially since it would make it easier for me to do mesh independence analysis by comparing several form of meshes. The problem is that FLUENT doesn't seem to connect to Visual Studio whenever I open FLUENT from Workbench (the nmake not recognized error). Is there any solution for this? Or maybe a workaround so that I can use the compiled UDF for my analysis. For additional information, I use ANSYS 2020 r2 on a laptop with Windows 11 as its OS. I have Visual Studio Community Version 2022 installed as a compiler. |

Never mind. I got it working by installing older version of Visual Studio (Community 2017) and following the guide on this link: https://innovationspace.ansys.com/kn...-and-parallel/
