Hello,

I am learning how to parallelize UDFs and I came across this post that called my attention. It is answered and apparently it worked, but I do not understand why the proposed code is correct.

DEFINE_PROFILE parallelization problem

Unfortunately, the answer only contains the code but doesn't explain why it is correct. For example, why the thread assignment is not only performed on the nodes instead of the host? That is a big difference with respect to the manual.

Thank you
