Hello,

I want to simulate the flash boiling in valves (commonly known as flashing). The phase change mechanism is due to the reduction of the pressure below the vapor pressure and not to the temperature. For this I think I need to use a UDF since the cavitation model does not allow the pressure to be below the vapor pressure and in this case the pressure at the valve outlet is lower than the vapor pressure (i.e. at the outlet we will have gas phase). Does anyone have a UDF that allows me this? I am fairly new to this subject.

Thank you
