Hello everyone! I want to simulate a wing which flapping and waving in the water. This wing will revolve around the Z axis at a periodic rate, meanwhile, it will rotate around its own axis of symmetry.
At first, I used the DEFINE_CG_MOTION, but the result wasn't what I want. So I consider to use the DEFINE_ZONE_MOTION. Now I can realize the rotation of the wing, but how to realize the revolution at the same time? Thank you in advance of the help! |

I am also working on a case where rotation and revolution of a cylindrical domain is involved. Kindly let me know if you are able to figure out something. |

Hello Bakhshi! You can try the DEFINE_ZONE_MOTION! Set a zone as the absolute motion zone, and another as the relative zone. You can use these settings in the Cell Zone Conditions.
