Hallo,

I would like to implement the Rosseland approximation in ANSYS as a UDF. Since the radiant heat flux has the same form as the Fourier conduction law, I only need to add the radiant conductivity k_\tau to the thermal conductivity k. But the radiant conductivity is temperature dependent. I have shown the connection in the following illustrations

q = q_c + q_r
q = -(k+k_\tau) \nabla T
k_t = 16 \sigma\Gamma n^2 T^3

Does anyone have experience with this and can tell me which functions I need. I am glad about every tip
