static Pressure profile using udf at velocity inlet

I am running a simulation (it is almost like a channel flow) which uses inlet profile generated from outlet of some other simulation. I was trying to put the array of values and assign them at each face center in the udf according the ordinate of that face center. I have used a define_profile udf. It worked well for setting velocity and temperature in the velocity inlet boundary, but the pressure profile which I gave in the udf ( at supersonic\initial gauge dialogue box) is not reflecting in the ansys ( found that on collecting the profile data from my simulation). Pressure seems to be the same as I have assigned except for the points where the velocity is subsonic, the pressure at those points is going considerably lower and even the symmetry is lost for the values it assigns for those points which had to be symmetric as per my data. Could anyone give me some leads in this regard?
