Hello everyone. For Ansys fluent 2021 academic version, I am intending to install visual studio 2019 which has been download from microsoft website.

I need guidance as to which parts of VS 2019 should I install. Complete installation demands too much space. The installation window has following categories. Which one should I install for comipling UDFs for fluent 2021?

1) .NET

2) Cloud, database and server

3)Code tools

4) Compilers, build tools and run time

5) Debugging and testing

6) Development activities

7) Games and Graphics

8) SDKs, libraries and framework.

Any help shall be highly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance.

Best regards.

pakk will become famous soon enough
Who says it has to be precompiled? What does that even mean?

Just try the normal compiler...
