Who can tell me what does the "0" represent for in the below sentence?

There are three arguments to C_UDMI: c, thread, and i. c is the cell identifier, thread is a pointer to
the cell thread, and i is an integer index that identifies the memory location where data is to be stored.
An index i of 0 corresponds to user-defined memory location 0 (or User Memory 0).

0 is the number before 1.
It's just a number, nothing else. Fluent starts counting at zero, so the first UDM you add will get number 0.

Hi, pakk, thank you so much for your help. I know it now. I have another question about how to define the gradient of the volume fraction by udf codes in two-phase flow simulation ? I searched a lot, but I do not find it.
