Is it possible to set equations on/off with UDF while solving?

Hi all,
I would like to solve a problem of two UDS uncoupled since due to coupling the solving time is way too long. Is there a possibility to solve UDS1 for one timestep and then turn of UDS1 and solve for the 2nd timestep UDS2 by using a define adjust UDF? Or is the only way to use a journal file and set simulation time equal one timestep and change the equations after the whole simulation is finished after one timestep? It would be nice to have a way to set the simulation time larger then one timestep. Alex |

you need journal file for that
run 1 time step simulation several times, to make it longer you may use scheme language inside journals

thanks a lot!
Yep I sorted it out like that. You helped me quite a lot in my thesis! Could you maybe help me with this problem in the forum for one last time? It is the last step before my setup is finished. Ansys support does not want to help regarding their UDFs :/ Why leads UDS_FLUX Example from User Guide to wrong results? |
