Hello all,

I want to select UDF at multiple outlets. I have pre-defined variables and then started entering the expression at a pressure outlet.

I found this error "RuntimeError: Function __add__|V|d not found!"

Could you please help me?

Any kind of suggestion is highly appreciated.

Thank you
Raj

you may use profile instead of expressions to define boundary conditions

if you still need expressions, give all information: what exactly you are writing and where

Hello,

I am using the Darcy Weissbach equation for Pressure drop at Outlets. In my model the diameter is constant and velocity varies because of multiple outlets at different locations.

I am attaching the expression which am using. (In this friction factor and density are neglected)

Thank you,
Raj

I have no experience in applying boundary conditions through expressions in Fluent.
You didn't provide your code, so its hard to recommend something.

On the other hand, you may use UDF for this problem.
You need DEFINE_PROFILE macro, look Ansys Fluent Customization manual for more details. There are good examples

Or you may try to provide the exact code you are using, which lead to error you've mentioned
