Hello,all!
I want to consult how to distinguish DPM injections in UDF programming. I am modeling underwater oil/gas leakage with DPM and I set two injections in DPM for oil and gas respectively.
I write a macro to define gas bubble sizes in DEFINE_EXECUTE_AT_END. Now I want this macro to work only on gas particles when called by FLUENT, but I don’t know how to code to distinguish oil particles and gas particles.
Thank you!

I'm using two injections to define carbon microspheres with different surface groups. And I need to find a method to separate the two injections separately.

Did you find a way to distinguish them?

Thanks in advance!

Default the marco about the initial values of the particle may help

Hi, maybe you can loop all the injections and particles first, and using the macros below to identify if the particle belongs to the injections you want to handle. The values These macros return are the initial values of the particles. And the beginning of the macro may be 'TP' or 'P', I am not sure about the difference.

Tracked_Particle position i= 0, 1, 2
TP_INIT_POS(tp)[i]

Tracked_Particle velocity i= 0, 1, 2
TP_INIT_VEL(tp)[i]

Tracked_Particle diameter
TP_INIT_DIAM(tp)

Tracked_Particle temperature
TP_INIT_TEMP(tp)

Tracked_Particle density
TP_INIT_RHO(tp)

Tracked_Particle mass
TP_INIT_MASS(tp)
