Hello!
I create a program for a new expression of a thermophoretic force (code in two parts: one for the thermophoretic coefficient and the other one in the force). when I compile it, it gives an error segmentation fault, I figure it out that I should enable this force in the dpm panel for being able to hook the thermophoretic coefficient. After that, no error was generated, but I think it would be wrong because fluent will consider 2 expressions of thermophoretic force, the default one and the force I hooked by the UDF is that so? can you please guide me! I am so confused. |

fluent uses UDF if it is hooked properly

Before hooking the thermophoretic force I should hook the thermophoretic coefficient because my force depend on it, and the only way to hook this coefficient is to enable the thermophoretic force present in physical models. By this method fluent will considere to thermophoretic forces?
I have tried to create a new material (inert particle) with a thermo coefficent as a new physical property ( for being able to hook my udf )but it shows only the density and heat capacity after the creation of material. Is there an other way to hook the thermophoretic coefficient? |
