Hi all,

I have Fluent 19.1 and Visual Studio 2017 Professional.
Yet, I cannot compile any UDF codes.
According to ANSYS tech support, for VS 2017, I shall not manually alter the Path variable or create INLCUDE or others. According to them, the following variables must be populated in VS command prompt when I type ": set", and I am missing all of them. Apparently, they have to be created automatically and I must not manually add them.

WindowsSdkBinPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\bin\
WindowsSdkDir=C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\
WindowsSDKLibVersion=10.0.16299.0\
WindowsSdkVerBinPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\bin\10.0.16299.0\
WindowsSDKVersion=10.0.16299.0\
WindowsSDK_ExecutablePath_x64=C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v10.0A\bin\NETFX 4.6.1 Tools\x64\
WindowsSDK_ExecutablePath_x86=C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v10.0A\bin\NETFX 4.6.1 Tools\

Has anyone had this issue before?
Has anyone used Fluent 19.1 and VS 2017 successfully with one-another before?
Please advise.

Are ansys tech support not able to resolve this issue?

No, they are clueless.
They keep saying it is Windows fault and is due to improper installation of Visual Studio and/or windows. My IT people refuse to accept that reason.

I would suggest the ansys technical people to detail what are the specific problems with the install. Then share these problems with your IT.
