hi,
i am simulating an air intake (a nozzle flow kind of thing) initially with no back pressure and have to change the back pressure once the flow is established and mass convergence is achieved with it, provided if the residuals are with in the reasonable limit. so will it be possible to use an UDF for this to check mass convergence for every iteration and change the boundary conditions. for the first attempt, i want to keep the residuals part away in my UDF. if i have to consider the residuals also, will it make it the UDF complex....?? i need literature or examples to understand and make an UDF for this. any help in this regard please. thank you. |

Ansys Fluent Customization Manual
search for DEFINE_PROFILE macro, using which you may define boundary condition for outlet best regards |
