Hi all,
I currently have a UDS set up with an inlet species mass fraction. So far, I have included a UDF that describes the decrease in this mass fraction in the volume over time (I am modeling a death rate). In addition to this setup of modeling a death rate, I want to include a correlation that describes the reaction of this species (those that have not died) into another type of species. I'm currently not sure how to go about doing this. Do I need to create another UDS that the remaining species can transform into and then apply the reaction correlation to the second UDS? Additionally, would this reaction term use a DEFINE_SOURCE macro, as I did for the death rate of the species? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated on this topic. |
