Hello,
I'm working on Electro-deposition process of copper, from anode face copper is liberating and on Cathode Face copper is being deposited thus the fluid that is within the electrode gap there will be natural convection phenomena due to concentration difference and buoyancy effect. 1) How do I write UDF to introduce source term as S=-rho*g*B*[C-Cref] where B is co-efficient of expansivity, C is the local concentration of copper i.e. variable and Cref some avrg reference concentration over Cathode. 2) I want density should be function of local copper concentration follows a certain linear co-relation e.g. rho=A+B*[C]; Please help how to write these two UDFs |

Hello SAYANTAN BISWAS,
First, take a look at UDF document in DEFINE_SOURCE and DEFINE_PROPERTY. There are few examples there which close to your case. regards, Chung. |
