Hi everybody, I'm working with fluent 16.1, and I need to program an UDF with a Herschel Bulkley viscosity function (Birmimgham Pseudoplastics). This programme is headed to get to know how to program correctly UDFs.

My problem is that I don't know how to access to the "Shear rate" variable in fluent to perform my code.

Maybe you should refer to some research papers to see how you can model this.

Try using C_STRAIN_RATE_MAG. Check out the following link:

Hi! Did you validate your UDF somehow?
I am trying to do this by simulating a flow between two paralell plates and compare with the analytical results. But the results did not match at all...
