Hello,
I am using the Eulerian multiphase model to simulate particle flow in water. I am attempting to hook a diffusivity UDF to the mixture (code includes diffusion of the particle into the water). However, I seem to have some misunderstanding as to the setup. I have selected for there to be one User-Defined Scalar. Next, I am compiling my UDF and loading into fluent. After that, I open up Create/Edit Materials panel and go to the UDS Diffusivity section. I am then selecting 'User-Defined' and attaching the UDF that I compiled. After running my simulation, it seems that the UDF is not applied correctly. My UDS-0, which will hopefully track the diffusion of particles, just has a residual and value of zero, so I know that I am doing something incorrectly in this process. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong in my setup, such that my code is not actually being applied? This is my first time using a UDF, so any help would be greatly appreciated! |
