Hi,

I am doing multiphase (gas and liquid) flow simulation with a porous screen. The screen is permeable to the liquid but blocks the gas up to a certain pressure difference. When the pressure drop reached to that level then gas pass through the screen. This lowers the pressure drop across the screen which again results in the blockage of gas.

In the porous media model, I defined the same viscous and inertial resistance for liquid and gas but this results in wrong values compared to experiment.

Do I need UDF to set variable viscous and inertial resistance for gas which depends on the pressure value at the faces of the porous zone?

Like the viscous resistance is equal to liquid when the pressure difference reached to the required level and in other scenarios, it should be very high to stop gas breakthrough?
