Hi
Does anybody know how I can access the adjacent cells of a node in udf ? is there any macro or instruction for this purpose? my project contains dynamic mesh. i wanna investigate the effects of erosive burning in solid fuel rocket. for this purpose i need (du/dy) near the burning area.(u is the velocity of flow in the direction of x). and (du/dy) determines the burning rate amount(r) according to errosive burning. then burning rate(r) determines how nodes of fuel boundary retreats(x=r * t). t is time step. type of moving boundary(fuel boundary) is user-defined. and my project is 2-D. as you know i should work with nodes in moving boundary(fuel boundary) in dynamic mesh and according to my description i wanna access the adjacent cells of moving boundary(fuel boundary) nodes. thanks for any help this is the picture of this project. an hypothetical 2-D solid fuel rocket: |
