Hello all,

I am currently running FLUENT 18.0 on a windows server 2012 computer.
After some trial and error, I managed to get compilation of UDFs up and running, but only when opening fluent via the x64 cross command tool of visual studio.

On previous computers, I had no problem compiling in FLUENT when opened regularly. These previous systems I used were FLUENT 15.7 - windows 7, windows 8 and 8.1, and FLUENT 17.0 - windows 10. However, on the current system I just can't manage to get the job done. I am running the following combination:

FLUENT 18.0
Windows server 2012
Visual Studio Express 2013 (12.0)
Microsoft SDK 8.0
.NET 4.5.1

In order to get things up and running, I set LIB, INCLUDE and path variables (Windows Environment variables- to solve problems in compiling UDF in Fluent), but as mentioned before things only work when starting via the x64 cross tool, whereas on my previous systems this was not required.

Any tips/tricks/ideas to solve this?

Best regards
Cees
