Dear all,
I created a journal file which is doing exactly what I want My problem is that I can only run it via GUI or TUI commands, when Fluent Simulation is finished/stopped. Does anybody know how/if I can run the journal file via an UDF. If yes could you please show/give me the command line I have to use for example in an EXECUTE_AT_END UDF. This means that the journal should run if a special number of iterations was done or the mesh has moved by a special distance Thanks for any help |

Hallo,
actually You may use Solve/Execute Commands functionality, where You can set the commands to execute at certain iteration intervals. It can be combined with UDFs through the user-defined scheme variables (triggers) to perform some tasks. Take a look here: http://jullio.pe.kr/fluent6.1/help/html/udf/node120.htm. Best regards, Max. |
