I wrote UDF, i know how to compile in ANSYS fluent, or workbench.
But then again it's just a C program, with header file in it! so how can I compile outside fluent like C program, using gcc and output file will be the assembly code which fluent shows, when the option is ticked. I thought, if all header files in UDF header file are assembled in single folder, then it's possible, maybe, I'm not sure though. |

I am sure it is possible, because Fluent also does it.
But why do you want this? Are you only asking this question to get insight on what Fluent does when you click 'build', or is there a specific problem that you think you can solve when you can compile your own UDF codes? |
