Hi, to compile a source term udf I installed VC++ 2015 and from forum's advice included environment variables. Now when I launch fluent using cmd, I am getting the following error
Error: sopenoutputfile: unable to open file for output Error Object: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\cleanup-fluent-HP-3964.bat" When I try to build and load the udf ignoring the above error I am getting Error: The UDF library you are trying to load (libudf) is not compiled for 2ddp on the current platform (win64). The system cannot find the file specified. E:\project 1\libudf\win64\2ddp\libudf.dll Can anyone figure out where I am going wrong? Thank you |

I see that you have spaces in your folder names. This sometimes gives problems. (I don't know if they cause these specific problems...)

Thank you pakk for your reply.
But I didnt save any fluent related files with space inbetween. Is there any other solution. One more query, what should be the path variables given under environmental variables. Whether it should be given in user variables or system variables. I am in need of urgent help. Thank you. |

I am sorry I didnt notice that. I tried compiling after removing that space but still same problem persists. I am seeing other ways to rectify it. If anyone solved it before please let me know your experience

You need to have Fluent installed on your computer before you can work with it.

Hi Pakk !
I do have Fluent installed in my system but may not be correctly. When I run from start menu by clicking Fluent 14.0 application it runs fine, but it don't open from the command prompt. |
