Dear Fluent user,
Need clarification on the following. during welding / weld pool simulation (2D), gaussian heat flux is applied on the top surface where the convection and radiation loss also need to be assigned. how to assign the heat flux and heat loss boundary on same surface ? gaussian heat flux equation: q = ( 3Q/pi r^2 ) * exp (-3x^2 / r^2) heat transfer coefficient for combinded convection and radiation loss: h = 2.4*10^-3 * emissivity * T^1.61 how to make UDF for (q - heat loss) ?
