steady particle tracking

How does steady particle tracking with unsteady continuous phase even make sense? How can particle equations be solved with a time step size.
Also, are the DPM UDF's applicable if the particles are tracked steady? They dont seem to make any effect on particle trajectories and fate. Cheers |
