4asino is on a distinguished road
Is there any interface between version of fluent and visual basic in compiling ?
I mean; is it necessary for fluent version 14 (for example) to be compiled with visual basic express 2012 ?...
Or for fluent 13 to be compiled with visual 2008 ?... etc,

Quick answer:
  1. After a quick search for "visual studio fluent" here on the UDF forum:

Make sure you have a full installation with VC++ package and visual studio cross tools command prompt included. Recheck if the check box in the environment tab of fluent launcher is ticked and the path of udf.bat file mentioned in the same tab is correct. Hope this helps
  2. Using Google, I found this: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/blo...pile-udfs.html
  3. I'm not familiar with Fluent, but from what I've briefly seen on these forums, Visual Basic is not supported at all. Only Visual C/C++.
