Hi everyone!
At the moment, I'm struggling how to write UDF for recycle feed in mixing loop reactor. As my reactor picture i uploaded, My system consists of two liquid phases (H20 and ethanol). Actually, centrifugal Pump should be included in full system. But i don't concern about pump hydrodynamic, so i simplified this system by removing pump unit. My mixing loop reactor picture http://s16.postimg.org/qw45noy11/loopmixing.png My strategy to operate. At starting time, water and ethanol were patched like what i showed. When i start this system, liquid mixture at the bottom will be sucked 5 liter/sec at outlet. And then liquid mixture 5 liter/sec ,which is sucked, will recycle to inlet at the same quantity. H2O and ethanol will be mixed with each other along time. Could anyone advise me how to solve this problem? In my opinion, I think feed inlet should be adjusted to be equal to outlet by using UDF Which macro can i use for solving this problem? Best regard Tleja |
