Hi
The geometry is a circle which translate as well as rotate (attached fig). The circle is translating from center to both ends of the wall. A udf function used for dynamic mesh. But after some iteration negative cell volume detected because the circle reaching at the wall end (where the clearance is very less-0.185mm). Can anybody tell how to solve this problem? I get the same problem as I get closer to the walls. I am wondering whether it has something to do with the parameters of the meshing options.
Maybe check the numbers when setting the UDF for the Rigid body, in one of the tabs you can select cell height. Maybe that could help in solving the problem. |
