Hi, I am investigating about microchannels with bends. I need to apply the slip velocity but not too sure how. Ansys only gives you to enter the shear stresses and even so it is not clear as to how to calculate them. Any ideas?
Also, should I use UDF inorder to apply slip velocity? If so can you give me some clues or even an example as to how to do this please? Thanks for your help in advance. (New to ANSYS) |

Have you read the section on 'Relative (Slip) Velocity and the Drift Velocity' in the Theory Guide? If there are additional forces to apply to the fluid, consider using a custom drag law with a DEFINE_EXCHANGE_PROPERTY UDF.
