Hi all
I want to simulate a 3-phase model in a batch reactor with rushton turbine. in this model occur 2 reaction sequential. our phase is water, sludge and biogas. i use Eulerian model and population equation balance for phases. now i need an example of udf for multiple reaction rate.

my reactions and rate expressions is:

K1S1→ X1+K2S2+K4CO2

Monod kinetic: r1=µ1(S1).X1

K2S2 → X2+K5CO2+K6CH4

Haldane kinetic: r2=µ2(S2).X2

For multi phase, You can define them by using macro DEFINE_HET_RXN_RATE

How did you do the population balance modelling for the biogas producing bioreactor in terms of set of equations ?

Did you manage to include the kinetics?
