Problems regarding mass transfer UDF

Hi, I'm an undergraduate student using Fluent for my final year project. I have encountered some problems while using a mass transfer UDF in my simulation.
I found that every time I save and reload my case file, the mass transfer UDF becomes unhooked and I have to hook it again. This become very troublesome when I try to send my case file to our high performance computer for calculation since the case file will definitely be reloaded and there won't be any mass transfer. The information printed in the console shows that the UDF is successfully loaded. Also, I've tried different mass transfer UDFs and I'm pretty sure that it's not the UDF's problem. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thank you. |

You should first compile your udf in high performance computer after that read your case file

I have the same trouble, I compile/load the UDF for mass transfer in Phases/Interactions.....
I write the case and data files then when I reopen magically the UDF has disappeared... After I try to re-compile/load the UDF gives me an error... Have you solved this my friend??? |

Do you use a journal file on the HPC?
If so, put the compilation and hooking of the UDF inside the journal file. Otherwise the hooked UDF will still refer to the location it used to be when you set up the case and data - likely on your local machine - so even if the UDF is compiled at the cluster the path will not match and FLUENT won't find it. |
