hello,

i m working on flow past a rotationally oscillating cylinder.

and i m using udf and dynamic mesh for it. so when i m using udf file and running the calculation. it is constantly giving me reverse flow at the outlet.
and the solution doesnt converge. pls help me experts.

plsss.

i extended the outlet far from the cylinder. used 2nd order upwind momentum equation.

Which boundary condition did you use. My guess is you have used Pressure outlet BC (given your problem is at low RE, if its a compressible flow problem, then its a different game altogether). Try using outflow instead.
