Dear Friends I am simulating a bubbling fluidized bed using CFD-DEM and I want to inject particles in a single time step. I am told a UDF file must be used for this purpose. I would appreciate if someone who is in possession of this file can share it with me.

Hi, Musango

If you want an easier way, just do the following:

Go to the ‘discrete phase model dialog box’ -> particle treatment -> inject particle at -> fluid flow time step. Make sure to define 'injections' under ‘Set injection properties dialog box’.

Regards
Jap
