Hello i'm new user of fluent and i want to follow a tutorial of "Non-Premixed Combustion Model" that instructs to "Start prePDF" as its first step. But, I don't even know how to do that. I mean, I didn't find any prePDF software after installing my Fluent 5.5 package. I can't also find many of the options equivalent to those of prePDF preprocessor, which are addressed by the tutorials I'm following.
help me please |

Can you please send a link of the tutorial which you are trying to perform. Also please tell the page number where you are facing the problem..
Pre pdf is to be generated fom withing the fluent in the species model. You dont need a prepdf software. Prepdf is just a probability function which is used by Fluent to calculate the mixture fraction. I think the below thread will be useful for you to understand better. Check it out http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/flu...2-version.html |
