Dear all,
I am doing solid-liquid phase change simulation using solidification/melting model, and the natural convection in the liquid phase is taken into account by using the effective thermal conductivity by an empirical correlation. I want to introduce an udf to do the simulation by fluent. The key is to track the melting front and give the coordinates(the melting thickness) value to the the whole domain cells.I 've tried using udm, define_adjust and define_property macro to solve the problem, but failed as the udm is pass by means of [cell, thread], I'm stuck by the problem, please give me some suggestions, thanks.
