What does user-defined node memory mean?

Fluent 14 introduces a new feature name user-defined node memory. I try to figure out what it is difference from the previous user-defined memory but can not find any explanation in the uDF manual.
Would you guys please help? Any comment appreciated! |

It's used for N_UDMI as opposed to C_UDMI/F_UDMI.
