Dear friends,

I'm able to compile a UDF from FLUENT launcher, but it cannot be done when I start FLUENT from Workbench. Anyone has some tip on how to do that?

Regards,
Natan

Are you sure that your UDF is in same place at your case files.

Put your UDF in CaseFolder>dp0>FFF>Fluent and then try to compile.

Hi, I am facing the exact same problem.

I was able to compile the UDF and run the case launching Fluent without Workbench, but It is not working within Workbench.

Did you managed to solve the problem? If yes, could you please explain how you did it?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Michujo.

EDIT: Yes, the UDF source files are in the right folder. It worked fine with Fluent (outside Workbench).

Do compiling and interpreting both work outside workbench? If the compiling is not working then you must correct the visual basic set-up for fluent.

Where you able to solve your issue with workbench?? I have the same question because you have to start workbench from SDK so what would be the working directory??? the one with the workbench files or the one with the fluent flies (udf lib etc)

Best regards...

good news

step1: uninstall visual studio express 2013 or 2010 or c++
step2: install Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate v10.0 (or pro)

everything is fine
even dont need to start workbench or fluent from SDK
