Hello,

I want to write a UDF that reads a profile format file, but I don't know how to proceed.

I have a profile file with x, y velocity, temperature and pressure info, but I only want to choose one of these variables each time. Furthermore, the profile file comes from another calculation with a different boundary condition.

So, I want the udf to read all coordinates (x, y variables), and only use the ones that overlap with the new BC. Is it possible? How can I read the variable that I want from a UDF (taking into account the position x,y and that variable)? I haven't found the correct way to call a profile file from a UDF...(I suppose I will have to use DEFINE_PROFILE...)
Anyone could give me a clue??

Thank you very much!!!!
