Hello All,

I am solving a porous media problem wherein the coefficient of dT/dt is (rho*Cp)_eff [i.e. equivalent to " porosity*(rho*Cp)_fluid + (1-porosity)*(rho*Cp)_solid " in FLUENT energy equation in porous media].

My question is is there a way to find out rho_eff and Cp_eff of the porous media because when I use property macros OR FLUENT defined properties to give density and Cp it reflects value of the fluid part only. This has created a doubt whether FLUENT is actually using (rho*CP)_eff OR (rho*Cp)_fluid.

Kindly clarify.

Regards,
Mukesh
