Hello,
I have a set of experimental data points, (x,y,v). Here x, y are coordinates in 2-D plane and v is velocity at (x,y). I would like to give these data points, v, as boundary condition in fluent and see how the flow develops from there. Do you know how to assign these discrete v values as boundary condition using UDF or any other way? Thanks, Boh |

Hi,
If these points are located at the boundaries, you can use both UDFs or profiles but if they are in the domain, you can separate the cells which contain them and assign fixed values in BC panel. Bests,

Yes amir , i think it's easier to use profiles thans UDF's ,
