Hi everyone.
Maybe someone have some advices how to use already created boundary condition for the new boundary condition. For example I have two square's. For one square I have already make boundary conditions like A-300k,B-300K,C-300K,D-500K. Secondly for the second square I used A1-300k,B1-300K,C1-300, D1- UDF?? How to write UDF for the D1 taking the value of D boundary condition. What macros should I use? Thnx Last edited by newminde; June 27, 2012 at 04:24. |

Could you be a bit more specific on what you want to achieve?
I assume the Boundary condition you mentioned are of the fixed-temperature type, so D has a value of 500K. did I get this correctly? In the next simulation you want to use the "old" value of D as the new value of D1? So what would be the point of using a UDF? |

Correct.
The goal is to understand how use UDF for taking values from other objects, latter I'll do complex computations. For example if we have 100 objects how I can take a boundary condition from the 52 object to the 22 obect. |
