Hello,
I'm performing a transient simulation of a particular kind of counterflow heat exchanger using VOF model; as I'm new to multiphase flow simulation I'm having some convergence troubles. In particular all the scaled residuals are below the standard criteria of Fluent, except continuity, which remains pratically constant (at about 1e03) and doesn't even show the typical spike at the beginning of a new time step. Anyone can help me or has experienced the same problem? Thanks in advance, Andrea |

How are you sure you have used adequate timestep/inner loops? Have you tried decreasing the timestep?
