Hi everyone.
I am Adam, a student trying to do a research on air lubrication system onto a ship hull, in which believed to reduce the drag force between the hull and surface of water. My case is: I tried to put on a group of nozzle plates onto the ship hull, as the path where the air bubbles will be injected along the surface of ship hull. However, I faced the difficulties on how to apply the boundary conditions (naming face selection) especially on the nozzles. What should I do to ensure that I can define the nozzle holes as air outlets during meshing for the 3D simulation? Attached is the image of symmetrical geometry in ANSYS DesignModeler of the ship hull inside a control volume. |
