Hi there,
I'm a student who is new to fluid simulation and working with Ansys Fluent. For a project, I'm trying to figure out how to model multiphase flow with the example of "flushing a clogged pipe". At the moment I'm using the VOF model because I assume that both phases are liquid. I've attached a picture of a simulation, but the flushing medium (water) in blue seems to stick to the walls of the pipe. Why does this happen? The interface Modeling is Sharp, I'm working with a constant surface tension coefficient and the option "surface tension Force Modeling with continuum Sufrace Force" is enabled. Any tips are appreciated! Thank you! |
