Dear Experts,
I hope this message find everyone in his/her good health. I want to simulate gas-liquid hydrodynamics in a bubble column using a porous gas sparger. To my knowledge , I need to set two zones (one porous zone representing gas sparger and other non-porous zone representing the entire bubble column). I would request experts to answer few queries and provide necessary guidelines. These are as below, 1. How to model porous gas sparger and set required values at boundary like initial bubble size? 2. I want to define population balance model in non-porous zone only not in porous zone, how to proceed with it? 3. What is role of porous jump if assigned to a boundary? Thank you in advance and looking forward to quick and valuable response. |
