I'm validating the RPI boiling model based on the Bartolemei Experiment (https://www.researchgate.net/publica...g_ANSYS_Fluent). I created two materials (water liquid and water vapor) and specified the liquid properties as a function of temperature and vapor properties as constant at the saturation point (558K).

My question is in the material properties what temperature should I enter for the reference temperature? Is it default value (298.15 K) or the saturation temperature (558 K)?

I entered the standard state enthalpy value as 0 for liquid. The standard state enthalpy value entered for vapour is 2.7e7 (latent heat multiplied by MW).

Whether reference temperature for both the materials should be changed or only for the vapor I should enter as 558K?
