Hey folks, when I try to simulate a phase-change in Fluent, I get divergence whenever I patch the water to its region and try to solve the problem. The pics should inform you about my setup but I've one more question for you; I want to model both condensation and evaporation at the same time so is one mass transfer mechanism from phase water to phase vapor enough for that? I read the manual but still struggling the basic details. Thank you for your help
Residuals (Energy is OFF since it is recommended in other topics that I should turn off Energy for the first few time-steps then I should enable it) https://pasteboard.co/q6F84wt6RNie.png The Domain (I want water to be evaporated and then be condensed at the top) https://pasteboard.co/1PnhCX6f0tuK.png The Models https://pasteboard.co/bdgA64k4RKEz.png The Multiphase Model https://pasteboard.co/UehZWqC9C7Qp.png https://pasteboard.co/Szyyhl3VV7ik.png https://pasteboard.co/O6pfa49xNvhT.png https://pasteboard.co/hh5XcZhMb39J.png The Patch I want to Continue with https://pasteboard.co/QALgtd5d3ZB4.png Last edited by asabiMech; September 2, 2023 at 19:07. |
