I'm doing a simulation of an OWC.
(2d, double precision, pressure-based, VOF, SST k-omega, transient) 58556 nodes 60483 elements 80.000 timesteps of 0.001s Using AMD rysen 9 and 64 GB ram. At first I used all 16 cores then I used only 6 (~10k elements per core) same problem keeps appearing. Solving window simply shuts down, computer doesn't show any signs of lagging. It's like a command is being given. I 'am obviously using a cracked version of the program which was set up I believe using floating license from "localhost" (don't take my word on this last sentence, not sure what I was doing just following instructions for the setup). Right before exiting, the solution writes : "MPI Application rank 0 exited before MPI_Finalize() with status -1" and an error folder appears in results with this message (time and date changes of course): "Error [node 0] [time #/#/# #:#:#] Abnormal Exit!" Besides the licensing I've seen this might be a problem related to automatic windows update or windows defender. I am able to continue the solution every time from last save (I save every 50 timesteps) until it stops the same way after 1047 timesteps. I could keep doing this, however I keep losing some data from my diagrams and at this rate I won't reach the deadline for my University thesis. Thank you in advance Here's the first and last steps from the solution sample of trancribe.txt As well as the report report.txt |
